About US

Location

Pedong town, usually shrouded by mist, is located about 23 kilometres to the east of Kalimpong. Situated about 1500 metres above the sea level, the climate is moderate and pleasant with the temperature ranging between 18 to 23 degree Celsius in summer and 5 to 18 degree Celsius in winter. The people around are simple and friendly. This provides an excellent atmosphere for learning.

The School

Established in the year 1998, Grace English School has been catering to the young people of surrounding areas and others from the neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.

It is a co-educational school. The medium of instruction is English and the students are encouraged to communicate in English within the school premises.

The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, popularly known as the ICSE board, New Delhi.

Principal's Message

Principal's Message
The process of learning never stops. We learn when someone teaches us. We learn by ourselves through several sources and media today. We learn while we teach. Some of us learn the hard way and some of us are fortunate to have the right environment for learning. Over the years of learning - teaching - learning experiences, I have come to realise that learning can be fun. It is my desire and wish that learning may be an enjoyable experience in Grace. After all, it is the GRACE of God that matters the most.
